Balya PFS

Balya underground mine, owned by Eczacibasi Esan Industrial Group , is located in western Turkey. The mine existing processing plant has 1.5Mtpa capacity and produces  Pb, Zn and Cu concentrates.

ESAN commissioned NewPro to carry out a  prefeasibility study of the options to upgrade the Balya processing facility to a throughput capacity of  2.0 Mtpa. Prior to this study there have been a number of scoping and trade-off studies completed in  order to ascertain the appropriate metallurgical approach and mine production strategies.
